Left to right in the picture are Randy Van Bever and Ray Laramee (balloon tire bike collectors from RI), Ron Carlson (now a mechanic at Harris Cyclery), the Fat Guy (me) and Chris Barbour (organizer of the British/Gear Hub rides around Boston).
The red van is history, the gear box having decided it would no longer shift. It has been replaced by an S-10 pickup in the same lovely red.

PS: Latest LBS closing has a stash of old parts and accessories in storage. No urgency to move it, since the LBS owner owns the storage garage. Urgency is in moving the LBS contents, since the lease ran out Saturday!
This stuff may become available soon. I will keep you posted as to the contents of the storage garage.
