This lack of final prep (chasing threads, facing bb and head tube, seat tube reaming for seat post etc.) was not unique to Colnago and was pretty much true of any Italian-made bike in the '80s. Several hours of hard work that the bike shops lost money on. A real contrast to any of the beautifully made frames from builders in the U.S. (you all know who you are)!
