Jerry,

The main tubes are, according to July 1988 "Bicycling!" article "In Praise of Steel",:

SLX - TT & DT: 0.9/0.6/0.9, ST: 0.6/0.9, with "helical reinforcements" in DT, ST and steering column (2.5/1.65)

TSX - TT & DT: 0.8/0.6/0.8, ST: 0.6/0.9, with "helical reinforcements" in ST, with "helical reinforcements" in steering column (2.5/1.65), "helical reinforcements the entire length of tube" in TT & DT and "longitudinal reinforcements" in chainstays.
