Since I've had a couple inquires about the Ryffranck, I thought I'd save time and post some additional info to the list.
I bought mine second hand, but unbuilt, through one of the on-line classified lists, but I can't remember which one. I had see a few Ryffrancks and thought they represented a nice modern interpretation of classic design and construction. I've been told that Pete Ryffranck still builds them one at a time in Quebec. The frame was offered for $525, so I made the plunge. It's made of Columbus EL O.S. tubing with nice lug work and gorgeous paint (by Marinoni, I think). I've seen some Ryffrancks with very flashy paint jobs, but this one hand a simple, classic treatment (including the nice Pete Ryffranck signature on the top tube) that I really liked. The right chain-stay, drop-outs and front derailleur hanger face are chromed. Quality work throughout and it rides great.
I hope to add more detail pictures to each of my albums in the future, but for now I'm starting small.
