Two Campy levers with gum rubber hoods. No, they don't match, but they're both pretty -- and the package includes a Genuine white and blue Campagnolo Record Brake levers box, with price tag at $69.99.

Both have minor scratches on the levers.

One has a bit of sideplay in the lever bearings, and obvious surface cracks in the dark lever hood. Hood has campagnolo script over globe, but campy shield-and-wings logo, no lettering, on the lever arm.

Other has virtually no side-play in the lever bearings, and a very-good-to-excellent gum good. That hood has the shielf-and-wings logo.

My thought is that the gum hoods are pretty hard to find now, and the things are fine for a riding bike (but not for a CyclArt better-than-NOS recreation, of course :-) )

Maybe $35 including US shipping is reasonable? Or maybe I'll get counter-offers, in which the scales of value can be balanced with cash. Things I'm looking for include:

--> Campy "steel" record derailleur, OK riding shape, steel pulleys, just to hang on the wall. --> Huret Ti DuoPar, for same use. Neither has to be pretty. --> Sachs New Success 170 mm crank arms.

--> Regina "Cinelli BiValent" freewheel and dropout mounting assembly (the real but rarest of the rare).

thanks

Harvey Sachs
