I was going to bid $50, but the bidding blew right past that level. Note that the winning bidder is Japanese, (email ends in .jp). However, the second higest bid was still over $94 and was evidently not from Japan. Maybe collectors on both sides of the Pacific saw this as that perfect accessory to complete that Herse or Singer. Considering a Carradice bag and Nitto bag rack from Rivendell will cost about the same, I can't really say the price is totally unreasonable, I was just too cheap to pay it.
