Chris and everyone,

I have to admit, that post had me checking the dictionary to see if there was some other esoteric deffinition of the word which I will circumlocute in order not to commit the same offence, but alas I was unsuccessful. I figured Ken being an intellegent (but not necessarily wise) person might know something that I don't (which would be far from the first time), but I could not find a defence for the use of the unmentionable term on his behalf in this case.

Ironically, I find the statement "admire only that which is admirable" more objectionable personally, having had a few pholosophical disagreements with Ken and his attitude towards bikes or builders that are not in alignment with his own. Each person has a right to ones own opinion, but I find that tolerence and the willingness to "agree to disagree" sometimes, are sterling traits that all persons could benifit from. Clearly the statement was an infraction of our intentions on this (friendly) list of Dales'; but maybe it was just a slip of the fingers on the keyboard, and what he meant to say was "masticate" periodically, which I myself do any time I'm hungry. Now that I think of it, I'm sure that's what he meant?! Ken is not a bad person as far as I know. (Did I put enough sugar coating on this baby?) Let us not judge too harshly, lest we ourselves be judged (or something like that).

On the topic of rider or collector; really, does it matter which way anyone in particular anyone swings? Take me for example; I've got a simple fault related to bikes......if one is good, more are better! If it doesn't blow my dress up I don't want it, if I like it I want more. Simple as that.
