Yes, the seller is mistaken. This is Selle Italia's Campionissimo saddle. The Campionissimo is a relatively unknown model, so there aren't very many of them out there. There are even fewer of the Coppi model. Coppi commemorative version is cool, but was first introduced in the very late '80s ( plus or minus a couple of years).
