Since I have been lurking for awhile except for the ocassional "off topic" post I thought I should post an introduction and age...

33 years old - riding seriously for 18 or so years and only have one bike in my 'stable':) I hate TIG and a have full respect for the vintage bikes that yall covet and your extensive knowledge.

I have had a Ciocc, Colnago, and a bike I got from Branford called a Maza in late 80's.

I wish I still had 'em!! Been acumulating parts to keep my daily rider running into the future. It is a Genius lugged Merckx with Campy NR.

But, a few years ago I realized how lugged frames are a dying breed and got bit by the bug.

In fact, I may be in line for that Holdsworth that Roy let the list know about. Just missed out on an Ebay MasiGC 54cm the other day with the twin plate fork and low serial #. But, it's probably for the best since it was probably too big anyway. Anybody on the list end up with it?

Would love to have a Masi GC early 70's or Italian built Masi of course. Pogliaghi second on my list and Holdsworth third. Two to go!

Had a letter printed in Cycle Sport chastising em' after neglecting to mention Masi in their Top Ten bikes (May 1999)... My 15 min of fame;)

Then I would like to get a few American made frame including Sachs and Eisentraut...

Last but not least I am having a Baylis built so I am totally stoked about that. Two to go, again!

I'm pretty much in sponge mode. Just trying to get a little knowledge. If I can retain a tenth of the stuff that is posted I'll do ok:)

Thanks all

Mike "Trying to keep it on topic" Wilkinson
