In the Zeus deal I spoke of recently, I acquired an NOS Zeus gruppo from an overseas list member. The HS and rear derailleur are marked "Cosmos" (NOT "Cronos"). I never heard of this groppo. It looks to be mid to late 80's, similar to Campy C-Record, with somewhat "aero" crankarms, platform pedals with adjustable toe clips, sidepulls with upper arm moved up and in toward the center a la the immediately pre-dual pivot Campy stuff (though less pronounced). Rear derailleur is horizonal parallelogram, but no upper pivot spring. This seems to be the successor to Criterium. Actually, design and finish are comparable to Zeus 2000, but this gruppo doesn't seem to use any titanium, as 2000 did. I wonder if this gruppo was never imported to the US, as perhaps it was made after Zeus stopped selling here. I've never been sure how long, if at all, Zeus survived after pulling out of the US market.
