cheers everyone... after a bit of thread guage, vernier calipers and eyesight malarky last night I determined that I indeed have 3 rh threaded studs and no left handed ones - clever - this poxy Paris Roubaix Bianchi is definitely going to be the only one cranked version and the early death of me, and when Ive got it up and running Ill find out that the reason that Fausto only ever used it once in anger is that its dreadful....(infact whos to say he ever changed gear!)

Im seriously thinking of having a laser cut 3 pinned spider fabricated to fit onto a period TA 5 stud and forgetting about originality (the rivet counters wont like it)... though god knows what a one off price will be for that, though I do know of at least 3 other Bianchis languishing in the same state - the 3 pin was obviously prone to breakage.. and the Bianchi Factory still havent replied to my email I sent nearly a year ago. (just in case thay have a spare in a parts bin somewhere ;7) arrrggghhh...

Thanks y'all Mike :7)
