I think S-1 is right. IIRC, it was aimed at hybrids, sort of a last gasp Suntour thing that never got spec'ed. At least I never saw one outside the pages of Buycycling magazine.

It looked like about the same mounting system as my '51ish Terrot, which has a Simplex something back there attached with two screws (he said, stretching for a classic connection).
