The seller of that Masi buys bikes from all over the SoCal area, just to be resold. He often doesn't know much more about them besides what he's told by the previous owner. He advertises in the local "Recycler" under the "bikes wanted" section that he's looking for "quality road bikes". Sometimes he finds pretty good stuff! His purchases often end up on eBay. Cheers,
