The Tevano page also shows the very first product of a Northwestern company--Kool-Stop brake pads! David Feldman
picture of the day - two, actually - both adverts from 1980.
picture no.1 - With all the discussion lately about Tevano cranksets, I thought it was time for an ad describing the Globe & Feather products. Also includes Laffont pedals, Imp'Air tubes, Kool-Stop round brake pads, and Silver Star clinchers. It's a large file, but I wanted to make sure the text was legible.
picture no.2 - LionTyres of Singapore produced 16 different tubies, ALL OF THEM WITH BLACK TREADS!!! Gotta love the opportunity to choose the exact weight you want - 210grams, 220grams, 240grams, 260grams, 270grams, 280grams, 300grams, or 360 grams. Then choose ribbed or mixed tread. THEN choose "with or without puncture-resistant breaker strip". Did I mention they all have BLACK TREADS!? Those were the days!
