Subject: [CR]27" tubulars revisited

Not to beat a dead horse, and this may have been mentioned before, but Continental still calls their tubulars 27", even though they are the same 700c size as everyone else's. This may have been the source of someone's confusion at the beginning of that thread.

On a related note, if anyone is looking for a large cross-section tubular, and can't find any, I have some from Tufo that are designed for cyclocross, but are not a knobby tread, just a nice deep file tread. They are called 28c, but they look wider than that. The D28 has black tread and red sidewalls, and are $40. The Diamond is lighter and has red tread and yellow-green sidewalls, list for $60. Either would make for a pretty snappy looking touring machine.
