I had a nice Raleigh Lenton from about the same time period a while back - sold it at the '99 Cirque to a fellow listmember. Mine had fenders and was black, and was a 10-speed with the same derailleurs.

The photos of that and its stable mate, an 8-speed Rudge Pathfinder Grand Prix, can be seen on Troy Courtney's site in his Lost and Found section at http://www.cccycles.com/oldbikes.htm ... for that matter, if you go to Listmaster Dale's Classics Rendezvous site, English bikes, and Rudge, you'll see more and better pictures of that particular bike.

Mine had aluminum hub shells as well as aluminum brakes, both calipers and levers. The main frame was 531 plain gauge with who knows what for stays and forks.

The Rudge didn't feel right under me, and I've never figured that out. The Raliegh, when was essentially all original and unrestored, rode beautifully on the short jaunts I tested it on.
