I've got a 71 International and a 76 P-15, both 24", and the ride is very similar -- extremely comfortable and stable, but not built for fast cornering. I think the wheelbase (41in.) and chainstay length (44cm) is basically the same on both. I'm happy with both of them.

A local veteran rider had one of those "tacked on one side but not brazed" Internationals, with the non-driveside chainstay double brazed, and the drive side only tacked. After a few k, he wondered what that noise was coming from the botom bracket.
