Remember the Simplex "Bobet" derailleur set? It's interesting that "clele66" bid against himself in the final minute, raising his price by $99, or 25%! I guess he was worried his high bid might not be high enough??? http://ebay.com/<blah>

I just completed an excellent eBay transaction with Mr. Toru Hiroshima of Japan (ebay user "cycle-yaro"). A great fellow, highly recommended, who couldn't wait to install and use the Balilla brakeset. He wrote "I'll use it right away and keep it as long as I live." I couldn't have said it better myself.

Looks like Duane Kennard spent a few hours cleaning his Girardengo, which is now listed on eBay: http://ebay.com/<blah> Hope someone from our gang will rescue it... It's too small for me (I don't often get to write that!)

Please note: This may be the only time you'll find TWO Girardengi on eBay, the other one being the red respray in Texas: http://ebay.com/<blah>

One last note - I'm working on a new series of "Cycling in Panther Run Valley"... since it's 90% off-topic, I will refrain from posting to the group. If you'd like to read them, please contact me so I can add you to the mailing list.

Aldo Ross Monroe Ohio 46F and raining in Panther Run Valley, but had a starry bike ride last night with Miss Elle, after which we played with newborn lambs at TVL Farm. :-)
