Possibly neither. 1981 is into the era of Regina CX/BX series freewheels, CX and Sedisport chains. You'd be authentic in spirit if you used a new SRAM PC48 chain, the closest current descendent of the original Sedisport, and it's also really forgiving of worn cogs if you are trying to extend the working life of a period freewheel.
