The new/old Masi Prestige has landed and I'll be bringing it along to the Cirque (as a frameset only) for examination and information gathering. I'll even offer it up to Brian as an evaluation/comparison frame for his event, if desired. I'm pretty pleased so far. The frame and paint are in great shape. The metallic orange color is even better than I anticipated. Components are dirty but show minimal wear, so should come back to life quite nicely. Interesting bits include SR BB with hollow titanium spindle, SR pedals with ti axles, PAT 75 SR rear derailleur, HF Rec hubs with flat handled skewers laced to Fiamme Ergal Gold rims, and the fluted and "Masi" engraved NR seatpost.

To finance the Masi project, I'll have the following (and more) for sale at the Cirque (sizes are c-c):

Trek 950(959), 1981. 56x56cm. White with blue HT and panels. Columbus SL. Normal Campy SR group of the day which includes Record LF hubs, BB and black caged pedals. Nisi rims. Cinelli stem and bars. White Concor saddle. Pretty much the way it came equipped as the 959 model (with the exception of the saddle). Numbers match (correct date parts). Near perfect and all original. Almost zero miles. $975.

Rasis, unknown vintage Japanese built lugged steel frame. Unknown tubing, but thin-wall and quite light, with number-tab braze-on. 54x54cm. Interesting details and magenta/blue paint. Suntour Sprint group, including hubs laced to Mavic GP4s and 9000 rear derailleur. SR stem and bars. Complete. Nice shape with some touched-up paint chips. $450 obo.

CID (Cycle Import and Design, locally rebadged, probably British-built) lugged steel touring frame with some other parts included. Unknown vintage, but probably late 70s. 56x56cm. Long wheelbase. TA triple crank and BB. Stronglight (I think) HS. Jim Blackburn rear rack. I'll include some sort of generic 27" wheelset. Good shape, no rust or dents. Paint fair (wasn't great to begin with). $175 obo.

Witcomb, 72/74-ish frameset. Yes, it's still for sale! 50x53cm. Reynolds 531SL. British built. Deep red with cream panels and white outlined lugs. The only braze-on is for the rear derailleur cable stop. Stronglight HS. Beautiful. Near perfect condition. $300 obo.

Too many parts and accessories to list.

All will be available only at the Cirque and afterward. If you have an interest and will not be attending, let me know and I'll let you know what's left after Sunday.

Thanks - See you all in a couple days!!
