CR's, what have I got....

It is a blue//lightly purplish plastic water bottle. Bottle is similar in shape and size to a standard small sized plastic bottle from the 60/70's or so. It has indented ribs molded into into the sides along with "Coloral" in script molded twice along the top prior to the neck. There is no sippy top, just a molded plastic top like an old fashioned perscription bottle top that you snap on or off. It has "Coloral" in script molded into it across the top. The cap is red.

The cage that came with this is chromed steel -mostly. The top front curves down similar to a nitto cage, then front center both sides are joined by a molded plastic shield, about 1.5" long/1" wide/.25" deep, finely ribbed with an elongated horizontal diamond with REG cast inside. Coming out from the bottom of the shield is the cage doing reverse curves till the bottom front then they go back in a fairly typical fashion. The back top of the cage has a curved top triangle piece welded on similar to a TA handlebar mount cage. Now the really unusual part... the cage itself is demountable from the bracket that attaches to the bike frame. The cage has two downward facing tabs of steel along with a piece of spring steel with a locking pip on the end. This slides into a separate bracket which mounts onto the frame. The bracket piece has two slotted areas for the cage tabs to slide into along with a hole for the pip to lock into. This bracket has welded onto it two frame clips, similar to standard REG waterbottle clips on their chromed peirced steel cages. It appears you mount the bracket to the bike and can the have multiple brackets on other bikes in order to change the cage from bike to bike - but why? What have I got and if I was the cage "What's My Line?"

I've never seen another like it.

Have I got you fully confused?

Thanks in advance,
