I've never seen Cinelli bars break but have a very suspicious pair of 66-42 that are mint except for some cracking at the critical spot, due to use with a handlebar bag mount in the 80s. Bummer.
Just off the Pogi after a fast 15 miles over Baker Hill and along Agate Passage next to the water in the setting sun. Awesome!

Really? Where do you mean exactly? At each side where the shim ends or under the stem clamping area?
I must confess in my 27 years in the biz, I have seen very few bars break. And zero Cinellis. But who knows?
How about the rest of you.. Informal poll...Have you actually seen, first hand, Cinelli bars break?
