Fred,
Larry Black knows all about the Bob Jackson trike and the owner. I believe the trike was arranged through Georgetown Cycles where Larry once worked. I see the trike (and owner) around quite a bit. He was headed to the Clarendon Cup races in Arlington as I saw the trike locked up by the finish line. There were actually quite a few nice classic bikes around! A nice contrast to the flashy new race bikes. Tom Witkop spent more time checking out everyone's bike than he did watching the pros race! ;-) Tom, can you remember what neat vintage bikes were there? A really nice older team issued Trek track bike, a Pog. (sp?), Waynes Raleigh Super Tourer, etc?

Let's start with a question: Is the fellow who was riding the Bob Jackson trike on the Capital Crescent rail trail (D.C. area) this morning, on this list? (Just in case there a millions of list members in Maryland with Bob Jackson trikes, this one appears to have been built in the '60s or early '70s.) Anyway, the Capital Crescent includes a 3 mile section that is a gradual descent/ascent depending on the direction of travel - some of it mildly off-camber. The guy on this trike was managing very well and could certainly answer Rick's questions about tricycle handling. Fred
