Fellow parts hounds:

I think we should all refrain from recreational bidding, although sometimes a guy will bid early just to get the ball rolling. If you want or need something desperately on eBay, it is folly to bid early because you are only bidding against yourself and increasing the price. Unless it is one of my auctions, in which case your early and frequent bids are paramount.

As an aside, I think Paulie's Stella needs a few more bidders.
