Oh, so those Sheffied pedals were made in Italy! That explains why so many of the Italian bikes I saw in the '60s had "English" pedals. In fact, I just examined the pair in my basement and noticed that "Brev." is stamped on the pedal cage, as well as a couple of other Italian accents. The things you learn on this list...
