Omniscient Pedallers:

I need help ID'ing a badly-repainted bike a friend of mine picked up for $75. It's all Campagnolo NR or SR, Campagnolo dropouts (not the long 110s; shorter), and very nicely-thinned lugs which almost blend into the tubing at their points. Flat fork crown. Distinguishing characteristic (to me, at least) is fastback seatstays, with the seatpost clamp bolt (allen) entering from the right stay and threading into the left about 1" below the seatlug. Seatlug itself is very short in vertical dimension. Can't find a serial number. Stamped cable guides brazed to top of bb shell. Has non-original 27" wheels; but based on tire clearance, it looks like 27s were original, rather than 700c. Any educated guesses welcome.

Also: I'm in need of a decent 26.6 seatpost, and would like to find a pair of DiaCompe Garand Compe centerpulls.

Thanks,

Chris Beyer
