I've shipped five bikes and received one this past couple of weeks via Fed-Ex Ground and have been extremely happy with the service, care and price. Especially the price. I shipped an extremely heavy Schwinn out in two full size bike boxes for under $40. The bike I received was not well packed (removed parts loose in the box with just a minimum fill of newspaper) and was in a full size bike box at 50 lbs. It arrived with the box looking like new and the bike in excellent shape (whew!).

Forget UPS -- go with Fed-Ex Ground.
