Custom ordered 1978 Peugeot PY 10 CP (team bike) took 10 months for delivery (normal).
Custom ordered 1980 Peugeot Pro 10 (team bike) took 10 months for delivery (again normal).
Custom ordered 1985 Merckx Gran Prix 753 took 1 year plus for delivery after being lost in the warehouse in North Carolina (very long story).
1989 Gary Helfrich (one of the guys that started Merlin) custom titanium road bike took 2 1/2 years for delivery (told me he didn't want to build any more frames and wanted to refund my deposit). Gary is credited with bringing back ti bike construction (3/2.5) after the Teledyne fisasco.
