I am only 34 and when I was young I could not afford Sew ups and now that I am older I don't want to afford them. I can't state they ride better worse or otherwise but here in Southern, CA my tires dry rot in less than a year and with a stable of bikes it would get pricey and messy to change out all those tubulars. I purchase last years top of the line clincher tires and get great deals. I don't ride enough to wear anything out. I am amazed how think my inch pitch cog and chainring are on my 30s track bike. Amazing when you put it next to my 10 rear cogs on my Record 10. Boy they built stuff to last back then.
