Pad and rim hygiene: A coarse file or emery cloth dragged over the brake pad surface, and Scotchbrite nylon-wool on the rim. Tubular cement remnant plus worn brake pad material plus dreck from the road can equal a nasty squeal. David Feldman

The pads are in fairly good condition. The problem is the brakes screech something awful when I use them, and vibrate like crazy. Anyone got a great solution for this?
