But on those Universal 61 centerpulls, toeing-in the normal way (bending the arm) is dangerous - they're pretty brittle. I never snapped one (honest!) but I've seen it done by other mechanics working next to me at a couple of the bikeshops I worked at. Seen maybe 4 of 'em snapped by toeing-in, so I know it wasn't just a fluke; never saw it happen to any other brand, that I can recall.
