I enjoyed visiting Rincon Cycles in Carpinteria a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see any classic bikes there and they do have to carry all of the stuff the local population expects to find in a bike shop, but the owner and the staff are riders and have have some very nice road and mountain bicycles.

It was especially interesting for a tall person who rarely sees a frame large enough. The owner of Rincon is 6'10" (I think that is correct) and rides a 29" frame. There were several bikes in the store that I could not stand over, including a mountain tandem.

Also, IMO, Carpinteria is a nice little town that is still relatively quiet for a beach city. Great beach and nice restaurants.

Have a nice trip.
