Otherwise, I know little about the Japanese Raleighs - weren't they made for Raleigh of Canada for export to the USA ? For a while there were English-made Raleigh frames that were exported to Japan for building with Japanese parts (mainly SunTour) and then imported into the USA. These had the Raleigh Heron headbadges, but there are hash marks in the place of the "Nottingham, England" at the bottom of the badge, or something like that.
