I work in auto body as my daily trade and a propane torch will not heat the tubes enough to cause any change in the molecular structure. If you notice the torch doesn't get hot enough to even start to molten the braze. I would not try heating a silver soldered bike with any torch. An acetylene torch with no oxygen works great too.
