I did the opposite a few years ago--when a work friend of my wife's bought a new carbon Trek, we gave him a NOS pair of TA steel cages. He was over having me work on his bikes last week and finally realizes the Trek doesn't fit him; I gave him Baylis and Sachs' web addresses and phone #'s to try and balance the titanium indoctrination he might get talking to all of his
fellow doctors.

Just in case you needed another datum to show that the universe is going to heck in a hand basket, and some people shouldn't be allowed to own good bikes, check out the water bottle cage on this classic Taylor:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

We've seen this bike before, but I didn't recognize the cage. Suppressed the memory, no doubt.

The seller is apparently looking for a straight sale for $1,400 or so. Any chance that he'll get it?
