Chuck,

My list of bikes looks like this at the moment:

Italian Masis (all with original paint, decals, and components)

1962 Masi Special road bike 50cm 1969 Masi Special road bike 55cm 1971 Masi Gran Criterium 53cm (Does anyone notice the absence of a Masi track bike here? I do. Can we fix that by next year folks? A small one please. Thank you.)

Hetchins

1968 Hetchins mixtie bike complete 1972 Hetchins Scorpion Bonham Spider, vibrant stays (Baylis paint) 1990 Hetchins Magnum Opus Track, vibrant stays (Baylis paint) 1995 Hetchins Magnum Opus tandem, vibrant stays (Baylis paint) 2000 Hetchins Millinium, vibrant stays (Baylis paint) (This is the point in our program where I whine about not having a Hetchins curley track bike either. Again the smaller the better, hopefully between the 50's and early 70's. Oh yeah, something I can afford if you don't kind.)

Rene Herse

1951 Rene Herse Ladies frame only (unrestored) 1960 Rene Herse Pista with interal headset bearings (unrestored, Ted Kirkbride, owner)

Richard Sachs

1984 Custom Richard Sachs, Baylis paint (built by eRichie for me personally) Engraved RS Cinelli VIP bar and stem

Baylis/Wizard

1975 Wizard road bike. Built for my brother, still original owner. You think Chucks' has holes, wait until you see this one. (I'm almost tempted to bring the Wizard Mixtie [the only one in existence] that I built for my mother in 1974. I would have to ditch the furry wool seat cover. Moms.... ya gotta love 'em.) 1979 Custom Track (the oldest Baylis I own) 1989 Baylis/Salsa road tandem 1989 Track sprint (completely bombproof!) 1990 Record Track 1990 Areo Track Persuit (Coulumus air tubing, intergral bars and fork) 1992 Areo Track (my personal persuit bike, one of my favorites) 1993 Baylis/Tesch S-22 Track bike (one of a kind) 1993 road bike built for 650c wheels (another favorite) 1994 All around Track bike on 650c wheels (the untimate weapon for the track) 2000 fixed gear road bike, (another favorite) 2001 Baylis "Double Vibrant Hellenic" road bike (do I have to say it again?)

I count 21 bikes and two frames. Good thing I'm leaving a bunch of stuff home. Needless to say a Ryder truck is in order. Sterling Peters and I are going to rent the truck. If anyone between SD and Pasadena (within a short distance of the route north) wants to hitch a ride, let me know. I think it would be cool to stick a ton of valuable cool bikes on a roof rack or something and go through the MacDonalds drive thru and knock them all off; sound like fun anyone? My stuff's going inside though.

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA Gotta save a few aside for next year.
