Subject: [CR]Trying to ID a Campa crank

Hi -

I have purchased a Campa crank (if you really want to know why, I will tell you 8'). It is brand spanking new, and cost me the grand total of $4.

It is a right side "star" crank, high polish, with the Campa shield with wheel and wing on it. Besides the length and pedal thread description on the back, there are two other markings - a small box with "A1" in it (between the length and thread info), and just under the axle hole is a circle of raised bumps with "5/1" in it. I see no part number per se.

Any ideas? I see in the 1996 spares catalog that the Pista crank looks a lot like that.

Thanks...Gary
