I learned something new, I had the impression these were indoor tracks was surprised to see snow in the first picture. http://www.fixedgearfever.com/JapaneseKeirin.htm (Thanks David !) To try to keep this on topic: When did Keirin racing start? A Japanese sport only? Maybe in Taiwan too; given the bike industry there? Anyone ever stumble across a collector's web site for old Keirin bikes? I get the impression that these are stoutly built bikes and maybe not overly artistic which is more to my tastes anyway.
