Hello. I just joined this list about a week ago after hitting the Classic Rendezvous website fairly frequently. I don't really have any bikes that would interest this group, at least not yet.

What I am interested in is at the upper age range and style for this group. Specifically, I like the first attempts at new materials and the time trial oddities of the 80's. Basically if it was first or if it was strange, I like it. I am not really interested in some of the classic steel bikes because I can easily build a new frame that faithfully replicates it. Components, however, I cannot replicate yet. Therefore i am very interested in component groupos from all time periods all styles.

If you must know, my complete stable is: 80-something Bianchi track bike Colnago Dual aluminum Early Specialized Epic carbon fiber 90-something De Rosa Primato currently in repair 90-something GT Tequesta mt. bike/commuter/occasional tourer 98 Trek 520 touring bike with too many miles 99 Trek Y-foil built up for ultra marathons and stupid light 2001 lugged touring bike (first frame I made)

Bikes and parts on the wanted list include: Teledyne Vitus, both aluminum and carbon fiber Early Cannondale or Klein Suntour components Shimano AX components Sturmey Archer hubs (especially ASC) Mavic components BSA track components new track bike built by me new mt. bike built by me new crit bike built by me
