There's been a bunch of questions and talk about rims on the list lately and having been riding only tubulars after my first bike, a Peugeot UO-8, I never really paid much attention to what was available from the mid-70's through the mid-80'. Last year I had a NOS set of Mavic Mod E2's laced up for use on my PX10E commuter bike and love them. So my request to the list is, what clincher/wired-on rims were available during that period along with some basic (or detailed) comments on weight, strength, general characteristics. I'm particularly interested in rims that can take a kevlar foldable bead. Here's the limits of what I know:

Mavic Mod E2 - Medium weight, strong, very pretty. Rigida 13-20 - I currently have a set of these laced to some high flange Campagnolo Record hubs but have not used them yet. Ambrosio Elite 19

Yes, pretty limited start, hence my request.

Lastly, if anyone has some for sale in polished silver 36h, please advise separately off list.

Thanks in advance,
