I'd love to have a source for front and rear wingnuts and a set of chain tensioners for that retro look. Can anyone tell me of where I could get a set? It would be much appreciated.

You don't have to get wingnuts very tight to hold the axle if you use a chain tension adjuster (kind of a banjo looking device) on the drive side. I've never had a problem with slipage.
