Richie,

Well I suppose there is no point in countering that. That one is rather obvious to some.

To be honest I have two other "burning questions" regarding "false representations" of Marios' work. I'd me VERY interested to know who built and painted the counterfiet Confentes that Marc Boral discovered. And where are those two frames now?? Secondly, I was never able to confirm by sight wheather the 51cm Confente Track frame that was floating around the Bay area until it was stolen from American Cyclery in SF was genuine or not. If it was real I'd be into that, but fake and not stated as a replica I'm out. I wonder if that frame will ever turn up?

More fuel for the fire at every turn. It's really too bad Mario isn't here to participate in the story of his own life! I promise you that some of what we think is pure bunk and there are probably some criticle subtle details that have escaped our attention. Perhaps at the Velo Rendzevous we could attempt to contact Mario via our "Magic Eight Ball" round table style. If we had the combined Mojo from Richie Sachs, Chris Kvale, Dale, Perg, Chuckster, Matty, the rest of Le Cirque Gallery of Clowns from this year including me, and the collective spitit of all who have attended Le Cirque/Velo Rendezvous or who own Confente biycyles; we could probably roust the great one. At the appointed hour we must focus as one. Remember to formulate your questions for a yes or no answer. It is doubtful..........

Brian Baylis La Mesa, CA I'm beginning to think that Mario is building frames on the "other side" and sending them through a Portal in the fabric of space..........but where? Can I place an order or do they come through at random? Mario, please, a 51cm C-T with a 52cm TT and the chainstay jetvent. Lime green w/ gold pearl for the color if you don't mind. Thanks, buddy; remember who loves ya'.
