I recently had a '54 Witcomb track frame re-sprayed through Barry Witcomb and they were wonderful to work with. I actually got the phone number from Dale's website, so anyone who is interested can find it there easily. They do not have email or even a FAX machine, so phoning is your best option. Since putting my Witcomb frame up for sale on the list, I have had many = enquiries regarding getting in touch with them for renovations, = transfers etc. They can be contacted at: =20 Witcomb Cycles=20 25 Tanners Hill LONDON SE8 UK

I don't think they are on email and I am reluctant to give out the phone = number on a general list as Ernie Witcomb who is still in the shop at = the age of 84 is the one who usually answers and he can be on the phone = for ages! I will give it to anyone who contacts me off list. I don't = know how many frames they make these days. Ernie assures me that = contrary to the myth he was never a framebuilder. In the fifties and = sixties there were ten framebuilders but I gather it's only his son = Barry who is left to wield the brazing torch. =20 Does anyone remember if the Mansfield saddle which is on Dale's list of = price highs as selling at $1025 was a North Road - the type with flat = alloy rails and Swallow type top with lacing underneath?
