There is a little museum in Winter Park, Florida, hard by Orlando, that houses one of the most extensive collections of Tiffany art glass in the world. We watched a video from there last night, narrated by the late Hugh McKean, that detailed Louis Comfort Tiffany's love for and dedication to the beauty of hand-made objects, the attention to detail and the unique quality that only the touch of the artisan can bring to the finished product. Listening to McKean's obvious fondness for Tiffany gave me a little thrill remembering the hand-made Richard Sachs bicycle I had ridden for several hours earlier in the day. I am now back at work, but it was a pleasant (classic) Sunday I thought I would share.
