Question: Are 'lumpy" Clement Challenge tires caused by the tire manufacturing process, by heat and humidity storage conditions, or by tire packaging where the tire is tightly folded? It seems that the tire manufacturer needs to change some of their quality control methods to resolve this common concern.

Some people claim that tire stretching removes the lumps. Would Velox tape help resolve this lumpy problem to immediately stretch the tire since tire glue takes too long to set and dry?
