Color photos of this bike appeared in VeloNews years ago. Scapin did the restoration and parts were replated and reproduced and the frame was repainted.

I'm struck by the phrase "rare and in this good condition."

Well in my mind the bike is more of a reproduction that a restoration. Virtually _all_ of the original finish has been removed and in its place is brand new glossy wet on wet paint. And brand new better than original shinier than shiny chrome plate.

Sadly... all... of it's Fausto mojo... is gone.
