Seller never mentions the date of the bike, just the derailler. That might help if the seller knows.I still think it will exceed reserve in spite of the smaller than average size.I have watched and the early eightys ones still usually sell above reserve without a problem. $750 is not a high reserve IMHO. I would bid well over that had I not just bought one and if it were 54cm.

Ralph, It's 52cm Center to Top and 5-7 years beyond Carlsbad production. Folks are shelling out $$$ for (specifically) the early Carlsbad stuff.
