Subject: [CR]Bivalent Hub I.D. Help?

Hey All,

I've got an odd bivalent-type hub/freewheel that doesn't look like anything I've seen or heard discussed before. Campy alloy one-piece left 36h flange & center section, pressed into a steel right flange, topped off with a 6spd Simplex 13-24t freewheel. The release lever is stamped "BREV.CAMP." The hub has a "winged QR" Campy logo. Some of the hardware is well-finished and polished; other bits are rougher and look like they came straight from the machine shop. It appears to have been built into a wheel at one time.

Any ideas? Freakish Frankenbike-ish prototype/creation?

Cheers,

PB
