You may have followed my email last week, as I have purchased sight unseen what was purported to be a Holdsworth track frame/fork in the U.K. I had the frame sent to Bob Jackson's for refinish, as the bike currently lacks transfers etc. Jackson's isn't sure exactly who manufactured the bike, and isn't too helpful at the moment. The bottom bracket is stamped either "3258L" or "32581". Is there a C.R. listmember who might be able to go to Jackson's and take a look at the bike for me and render an opinion as to the make/model etc? I'd certainly remember the individual in my will, but at the rate I'm going, I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. Perhaps you'll come out with a nice pair of tubulars. Maybe just a pair of socks. Who knows. Any takers? Your consideration is appreciated.
