Not sure I get it - are you saying this can't be? If you put two road chainrings on a track crank, is it not a track crank anymore? (Philosophical question?) Lot's of Davidsons came with Gipiemme cranks back then, it was a house specialty. Nice cranks, like a Campy but thicker/stiffer. The rumor was they were made from the same forgings as Campy...

My favorite quote from the auction is "Davidson has intentionally stayed small". Not quite the way I remember it!

As long as you don't mind buying a pig in a poke from "Santa on Crack", I'm sure it's a nice pig... er, bike.
